Find out more »Dance to the driving rhythms of our own First Time Stringband (Howie on banjo, Jeff Davis on Fiddle, Dan Lanier on Fiddle and Mandolin, Deck Neiforth on bones and harmonica, Sally on guitar) w/ Sue Gola calling. If you are new to contradancing, have no fear! All dances are taught and the evening begins with instruction for beginners at 7:15. Have yourself a ball (oops, I mean a contradance!)
Find out more »For the second time, I will join my fellow artists, Lisa Davidson and Susan Graseck in a show of our work at the Thompson Public Library. My part of the show includes my quilts, including several new ones! Our Artists Reception will be held at the library on Tuesday, October 14 at the library, from 6-7:30PM. Libations and small snacks will be served. The show will hang for the entire month of October and is open to the public.

Find out more »Howie and I will join a host of singers to once again sing Bob Franke's "Meditations on the Passion" on Good Friday. We have sung it nearly every year since it was first presented in 1980 at Bob's home church, St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, in Marblehead MA. This year's presentation will be particularly moving, as it will be sung in Bob's memory. I will sing "Nectar of Life" and Howie sings "Peter's Song" plus we get to join the chorus.…
