Edwin Way Teale House, Hampton CT
This is a fun workshop for ages 10 and up (teens and adults are most welcome!) Participants will go on a short listening walk and write a song based on the sounds we heard and the creatures we saw. If time permits, the more experienced writers will be able to write their own song as well. TIME: TBA COST: TBA

Residency: Jack Jackter Intermediate School
This is one of my favorite schools to work in! I'll be working with the 8 third grade classes who are studying immigration. We'll be writing songs to address man of the issues that come up: who gets to come in? where did our families come from? what role does race play in immigration? and more... Thanks to the school's PTO and the Office of the Arts for funding this residency.
