Description
These songs have introduced me to some real characters, clever curmudgeons and courageous comrades! I feel like I’ve met them all, though many predeceased me by at least a century. I wrote all but four of them, many as the result of school residencies in Lebanon, Pomfret, Mansfield and Stafford Springs, CT. Through these historical figures, I have learned more about our nation’s history than I ever learned at school. I hope you enjoy these amazing people and are inspired to dig deeper into our roots.
COVID-19 has caused all of my work to be either canceled or postponed for a year. Those earnings were earmarked to make this recording. If you would like to speed the recording process along by making an extra donation, I would be most appreciative. All funds received will be funneled into the recording project.
